4th Annual “Tee Party” at Parsonage Cottage Senior Residence

The Parsonage Cottage Junior Advisory Board is excited to announce its 4th Annual “Tee Party” at Parsonage Cottage Senior Residence on Saturday, June 14. Registration is now open at www.parsonagecottage.org.

Participants in the mini-golf tournament will play on a customized course set up on the beautiful grounds of Parsonage Cottage, located at 88 Parsonage Road, Greenwich. Check-in begins at 11:00 AM for 18 holes of miniature golf from 11:30 – 1:30. Prizes will be awarded for Best Team Attire.

The cost for entry is $30 for a single player, and teams are encouraged to come dressed in spirited attire and to create fun team names. Sponsorship opportunities are available: Hole Sponsor for $350, Beverage Cart Sponsor for $400, Platinum Sponsor for $500, and Tee Party Event Sponsor for $1,000. Parsonage Cottage is also accepting monetary donations and prize contributions.

Player registration includes lunch provided by Walter’s Hot Dog Truck, ice cream, soft drinks, and beer. A DJ will provide music throughout the event. Given that this is a popular event that often sells out, early registration is highly encouraged.

One of the highlights of the day is the impressive creativity and enthusiasm displayed by the teams. Participants come up with clever names like Baywatch Life Guards, The Empty Nesters, The Wobblers, The Jolly Fishermen, The Docs, The Pink Ladies, Ghostbusters, and many more. The colorful costumes add an extra element of fun to the day.

The residents truly enjoy seeing the grounds come alive with excitement and young people,” said Executive Director Penny Lore. “We are very grateful to our Junior Advisory Board for their commitment to supporting Parsonage Cottage and our efforts to provide a comprehensive range of enriching services and activities for our residents.”

The Tee Party serves as a critical fundraiser, directly benefiting the programs and services that enhance the well-being of the seniors who call Parsonage Cottage home. Guests will enjoy an afternoon filled with delightful refreshments, engaging activities, and the opportunity to connect with community members who share a commitment to senior care.
