000000
On Friday, February 13, join the Friends of the Danbury Museum for our winter fundraising luncheon. This festive luncheon will be held from 11:30-2 at the Amber Room Colonnade, 1 Stacey Road, Danbury, CT.
Join City Historian and Danbury Museum Executive Director Brigid Guertin as she shares inspiring narratives of Danbury’s role in the Revolutionary War. Brigid will be joined by local historian Robert Young sharing his “Why Danbury?” presentation, detailing why Danbury was the right spot for a supply depot, and how it was strategically important. These short and meaningful speaking segments will “rev” us all up for a year of programming and events commemorating 250 years of the Declaration of Independence and the American Experiment.
Your $76 ticket purchase includes: passed appetizers, a buffet luncheon featuring salad, chicken and rolls, a beef carving station, dessert, coffee, and a cash bar. There will be a 50/50 and raffle baskets as well! Get your tickets HERE!
