Port Chester-based Mercury Solar Systems has just acquired Eos Energy Solutions in Center City Philadelphia.
Eos Energy will be renamed Mercury Solar Systems and company founder Andrew Kleeman will now oversee the daily operations of the Pennsylvania affiliate.
“Eos Energy is a local market leader and provides us a platform to expand our affordable, turnkey solar energy solutions to businesses and homeowners throughout Pennsylvania,” said Jared Haines, president of Mercury Solar Systems, in a statement. “With state imposed rate caps on electricity set to expire at the end of the year, this is an excellent time to invest in solar energy. We look forward to helping more customers capitalize on the rebates being offered under the Pennsylvania Sunshine Solar Program.”
Solar integrator Mercury Solar Systems is a subsidiary of Mercury Energy, a national provider of solar energy systems.
The company this fall relocated from New Rochelle to a 21,000-square-foot facility in Port Chester to accommodate growth.
