Hudson Valley Pattern for Progress will host a panel discussion on the concept of regionalism ”“ whether it is effective and how it works best ”“ on Tuesday in Newburgh.
The panel will include Ned Sullivan, president of Scenic Hudson in Poughkeepsie; Harold King, executive vice president of The Council of Industry in Newburgh; Aimee Vargas, Mid-Hudson regional director for Empire State Development in New Windsor; and Todd Erling, executive director of the Hudson Valley Agribusiness Development Corp. in Hudson.
The panel discussion will be followed by presentations on group research projects done over the last nine months by the 22-member Pattern Fellows class of 2013-14. The class includes nonprofit and business professionals.
The luncheon will be from noon to 2 p.m. at the Powelton Club, 29 Old Balmville Road in Newburgh. The cost is $45 per person. Special rates are available for Pattern members and Fellows alumni.
