Mount Pleasant Town Supervisor Carl Fulgenzi and Deputy Westchester County Executive Richard Wishnie were among those attending a ribbon-cutting to mark the opening of the new headquarters of OLA Consulting Engineers LLC in Valhalla.
OLA is leasing 10,167 square feet of space in one building of the three-building office complex situated on 102 acres at 100 Summit Lake Dr. in Valhalla. The company moved to Valhalla from Hawthorne.
“For the past half century, OLA has called Westchester its home, creating jobs and providing engineering services for many of Westchester’s major employers,” Wishnie said. “We applaud their continued commitment to our county’s economy.”
Fulgenzi said, “The Town of Mount Pleasant welcomes OLA Consulting Engineers to their new headquarters. The firm’s decision to keep their business in Mount Pleasant reflects the Town Board’s ongoing efforts to make our town an attractive place to do business by offering a thriving community and convenient access. We congratulate OLA on this new chapter and look forward to their continued contributions to innovation and sustainability in the engineering field.”
Patrick F. Lynch, president of OLA said, “Celebrating 50 years of providing engineering services locally and nationally, we’re proud to remain rooted in Westchester County.”
The firm provides services in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering, as well as energy engineering and commissioning services. Projects include new construction, retrofits, and renovations.
In addition to its Westchester headquarters, the company has an expanded Manhattan office. It has more than 65 people on its staff.
