Following its filing for bankruptcy in June, children”™s clothing retailer Gymboree has released a list of 350 stores it will close starting July 18 ”“ with two area stores on the chopping block.
In addition to the Gymboree in the Vernon Hills Shopping Center at 696 White Plains Road in Scarsdale, the chain is shuttering its Janie and Jack store at 107 Greenwich Ave. in Greenwich.
A number of other Gymboree and Janie and Jack stores are also being closed throughout Connecticut and New York.
