Global stationary giant and major Shelton employer BIC announced on August 7 a partnership with Grammy-nominated musician Charlie Puth to launch a “Creativity Camp.”
The camp will help demonstrate that will both spotlight BIC’s latest 4-color pen and draw attention to the fact that despite numerous studies linking arts and music education programs to improved student performance and wellbeing they also tend to be chronically underfunded.
Puth oversaw an invite-only creativity camp in New York City with teachers and students from across the tristate area. Attendees learned about the creative value of journaling, beat making, album design, and performance.
The camp was run in association with the Save the Music Foundation, and BIC donated school supplies for use in its programs, as well as fully stocked backpacks for camp participants.
