The Women’s Enterprise Development Center (WEDC) is offering a 15 session course at their class room in White Plains.
“Do you have a business idea or already have an established business?” reads the WEDC pitch. “In any case, there is always room to grow and improve. WEDC’s professional instructors will provide you with knowledge on various business topics so that you can develop your business idea or identify areas for improvement in your business. You will do this while using the latest business model called the Business Model Canvas.”
Classes will begin on September 10, running primarily from 6pm to 9pm on subsequent Tuesdays.
Topics to be covered include customer discovery and profiling, competitive analysis, social media strategies, pitching, business fundamentals and financial management skills.
Participants will also have the chance to compete for cash prizes in a pitch contest where they can put the skills they have learned to use.
