On June 10 The Watershed held a ribbon cutting ceremony with Norwalk Mayor Harry Rilling and other local notables to celebrate the rebranding and completion of renovations.
Formerly known as Hotel Zero Degrees, the rebrand and refresh was announced in October 2023. The new styling emphasizes the connection between the hotel and the Norwalk River, which flows directly behind the property which sits between the tranquil river and busy Main Avenue, part of the Route 7 corridor.
The hotel is owned and operated by RMS Companies, which hired Norwalk-based Benfield Architecture and HVS Design from Delaware to craft a modern but distinctly New England feel for the property and design a new rooftop lounge space.
Located near on and off ramps for both the Merritt Parkway and I-95, The Watershed is well situated for business travelers headed to the many office parks along the Route 7 corridor in Norwalk as well as leisure travelers taking in the Parkway.
