Looks like Westchester County is ready for its close-up.
Twenty-nine Emmy nominations were given to shows filmed in Westchester, according to the county”™s tourism and film office.
The department, which is a division of County Executive Rob Astorino”™s Office of Economic Development, announced the nominations as part of an ongoing push to grow the area as a filming and production option. The HBO series “The Leftovers” films out of Mount Vernon”™s Haven Studios.
The 66th annual Emmy Awards air Aug. 25. Shows nominated that filmed in Westchester, according to the tourism office, are listed below.
