Tara Rush, senior vice president and chief corporate relations officer for Heineken USA, has been elected to the Board of Directors for The Business Council of Westchester.
The move represents a continuation of the relationship between the council and Heineken, particularly with respect to the council”™s alumni program, Marsha Gordon, president and CEO of the council, said.
“Heineken USA”™s support on a BCW leadership level has enabled the growth of our organization, and their special involvement with Rising Stars alumni program has helped to create dynamic and exciting opportunities for our young professional members,” she said.
At Heineken since 2013, Rush serves as the senior vice president and chief corporate relations officer. Previously, she was a director at Emanate, a midsize public relations agency, where she led consumer-marketing and social-relevance campaigns.
Before Emanate, Rush led public relations at Mars, Inc. and held roles in the consumer marketing practices at Ketchum, Edelman and Weber Shandwick in New York.
She is a graduate of Cornell University and lives in Connecticut with her husband and two children.
