The state of Connecticut awarded a $250,000 low-interest loan to a Greenwich company that runs cloud-computing platforms for small businesses and nonprofits, among other information technology management offerings.
Mandragore L.L.C., which dubs its software UFlexData, plans to hire five people and committed to investing nearly $60,000 itself as part of the deal.
Under Gov. Dannel P. Malloy”™s Small Business Express program, Connecticut is issuing $100 million to small businesses in the form of loans and grants. Other businesses to receive funding included:
Ӣ American Municipal Tax-Exempt Compliance Corp. of Avon;
Ӣ Therap Services L.L.C. of Waterbury, an electronic health records vendor;
Ӣ Realgy Energy Services L.L.C. of West Hartford; and
Ӣ New Morning Country Store L.L.C., an organic store in Woodbury.
