American Family Care (AFC), a leading national provider of urgent care, primary care, and occupational medicine is celebrating 10 years at its 3000 Summer Street location in Stamford.
Since opening in 2014 AFC Stamford has served over 100,000 patients. AFC helped pioneer the very concept of urgent care, providing many Americans with access to important healthcare that can fill the gap between scheduled doctor visits without forcing those with non-life-threatening medical issues to wait in overburdened hospital emergency rooms.
The Stamford location is open 7 days a week, between 8am and 8pm on weekdays and until 5pm on weekends, which has helped make it a valuable resource for the city’s many college students and people who find themselves with medical needs that may not warrant a hospital trip outside of regular business hours.
“I am very proud of our 10 years of service to the greater Stamford community,” said AFC Stamford independent owner and operator Brad Radulovacki in a prepared statement. “Patients are our utmost priority, and responding to their evolving needs has been the key to our success. We are excited about the future. Soon we will enhance the urgent care experience through innovative technology and new services while maintaining our personal patient connections and the trust we have earned over the past decade.”
To celebrate its anniversary, AFC Stamford is sponsoring the Stamford Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Summer Kickoff on June 6 and the July 18 Stamford Chamber Summer Social on July 18.
