Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, a nonprofit performance venue, museum and legendary site of the 1969 Woodstock Music & Art Fair, has announced its summer lineup for”¯The Horizon Stage, a showcase for up-and-coming artists.”¯”¯
”¯In its second year in operation, The Horizon Stage serves as a hub for emerging artists from various creative domains to display their talents prior to mainstage Pavilion concerts. This year”™s showcase has been upgraded to a larger stage and is located just beyond the main gates. Access to the Horizon Stage is included with Pavilion concert admission and Horizon Stage sets typically start 90 minutes before the Pavilion show.”¯Klark Sound, leading off the series on June 29;”¯Jak Lizard,”¯Claudia Hoyser and”¯Shlomo Franklin are among those who will take to the stage throughout the season, which ends Aug. 25.
”¯“The past and present merge at The Horizon Stage, where audiences can embrace the legacy of Woodstock by exploring the talents of up-and-coming artists on the festival’s historic grounds,” said Eric Frances, CEO of the center. “Woodstock launched the careers of many musicians and, with The Horizon Stage, our goal is to honor the festival”™s tradition of supporting the next generation of artists.”
