Luxe British sportscar manufacturer Aston Martin vroomed into Manhattan June 13 with the opening of Q New York, its first global flagship, at one of the Big Apple”™s toniest corners, 450 Park Ave.
Newly minted New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers, American actresses Zoey Deutch and Gabrielle Union, British mezzo-soprano Katherine Jenkins, OBE, and British-born, New York City-based DJ Isabella Massenet looked on as the brand celebrated its 110th anniversary by unveiling the Aston Martin DB12 in the company”™s largest commercial market. It”™s the world”™s first super tourer, designed to combine high performance, ultra-luxury and style.
In the week of North America”™s second Formula One”¯race of the season in Canada ”“ the home race for Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One Team driver Lance Stroll ”“ Aston Martin”™s AMR23 car was also on display, allowing New Yorkers to get a closer look at the vehicle that propelled the British team to third in the Constructors”™ Championship.
