Aviation Boatswain”™s Mate Airman Julian Fernando, who hails from Yonkers, New York, is directing an F/A-18F Super Hornet, assigned to the “Black Aces” of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 41, on the flight deck of USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72). The ship is underway conducting routine operations in U.S. 3rd Fleet.
