Kandy Davenport is Westchester County”™s new director of risk management according to Westchester County Executive George Latimer. She will be in charge of directing and managing a comprehensive risk management program for the county, including responsibility for the formulation, implementation and monitoring of policies as they relate to insurance, safety and other claims.
Davenport takes on this role with a strong background in the field, including serving as the head of KPMG LLP”™s national insurance department for 17 years. Most recently she worked as a senior risk analyst for Enterprise Risk Management.
“My goal is to help the county identify, assess and mitigate its risk exposures as it simultaneously protects and serves the needs of its residents,” Davenport said.
