A 13-year employee of Mohegan Sun in Uncasville has been named the casino and entertainment center’s vice president of new markets. Randy Noka now leads the staff that is charged with expanding Mohegan Sun’s high-end network casino clientele business and maintaining long-term guest loyalty.
Noka is a member of the Narragansett Indian Tribe. He has served as a councilman for the tribe since 1996. He also has been an officer for the United South and Eastern Tribes, Inc. and the National Congress of American Indians.
Noka joined Mohegan Sun in 2005 as executive host and soon thereafter was promoted to director of new markets. In addition to marketing, his background includes conservation work and law enforcement.
“Mohegan Sun takes great pride in Native American success within the organization…and this promotion was certainly well deserved,” said Ray Pineault, president and general manager of Mohegan Sun.
