Beaty joins Julia B. Fee
Terence Beaty has joined Julia B. Fee Sotheby”™s International Realty as the new senior vice president, luxury marketing. In his new role, Beaty will become the firm”™s resident luxury expert on high-end listing presentations while also serving as a training resource for sales associates. He will be available to the company”™s agents throughout Westchester County to attend presentations upon request.
A winner of numerous Home Builders Association sales and marketing awards, Beaty has been responsible for hundreds of millions of dollars in sales and represented several notable new development projects in Greenwich, Westport and other areas.

Sadlon joins The Westchester Bank
Richard Sadlon has been appointed to the position of vice president, information technology by The Westchester Bank. Sadlon brings 30 years of banking and technology experience. He will be based at the bank”™s headquarters in Yonkers with the primary responsibility to bridge technology and business goals.
Most recently, Sadlon served as information technology manager at The Princeton Bank and held various management positions at Bank of America before that. He has a master”™s degree in computer information systems. “It”™s an exciting time to be joining The Westchester Bank,” Sadlon said in a statement. “The bank”™s information systems and advanced technology are competitive with that of any larger financial institution. My role will be to further identify and navigate targeted solutions to best meet the growth demands of the bank. ArtsWestchester elects president and adds four members
Replacing Jacqueline Walker as president of the ArtsWestchester board of trustees in White Plains is the organizaton”™s Executive Vice President Froma Benerofe.
After two years of service, Walker has relinquished her role as president of the board, though she will continue her involvement as a board member, active supporter of the arts and sharing her artistic knowledge and appreciation, as well as her generosity.
Benerofe, whose private practice in clinical social work has helped individuals throughout the county, currently resides in Purchase. No stranger to the arts, she has served on the boards of the Steffi Nossen Dance in Education Fund and the Parsons School of Dance. Additionally, she has served on the board of ArtsWestchester for six years, two of them as executive vice president and as chairwoman of the grants committee for five years. Benerofe received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vassar College in 1963, a master”™s degree in social work from Columbia University School of Social Work and certification in interpersonal trauma from Fordham University in 1998.

Maria Ferreira, the Suburban New York and Connecticut Community Banking area president for Wells Fargo, the fourth-largest U.S. bank; Thomas Manisero, a commercial litigator by training who has handled a wide variety of contractual and business disputes during his 30-year career and serves as a partner at Wilson Elser and is a member of its executive committee; Paola Morsiani, a native of Venice, Italy, director of the Neuberger Museum of Art of Purchase; and Catherine Parker, a fourth-generation Westchester resident and formerly a Rye City Council member since 2007, now a member of the Westchester County Legislature.
Citrin Cooperman continues regional expansion
The partners and staff of MGI Repetti have joined Citrin Cooperman, an accounting, tax and advisory services firm, effective July 1. Building upon the firm”™s expansive growth, Citrin Cooperman welcomed approximately 10 partners and 50 staff. The New York City office of MGI Repetti will move into Citrin Cooperman”™s headquarters at 529 Fifth Ave. in New York City. In addition, Citrin Cooperman will open its sixth office by maintaining MGI Repetti”™s Plainview, Long Island, office.
Citrin Cooperman currently has offices in New York, Philadelphia, Norwalk, Conn., Livingston, N.J., and White Plains.
For more than 50 years, MGI Repetti offered accounting, tax, assurance and business and consulting services to family-owned and privately held businesses, as well as not-for-profits and individuals. Its partners and staff bring knowledge in industries that include manufacturing and distribution, financial services, shipping and freight forwarding, logistics, technology and real estate. In addition, MGI Repetti was well known for its international expertise.

New brokerage manager
Carolyn Fugere will serve as the brokerage manager for the Larchmont brokerage of Julia B. Fee Sotheby”™s International Realty. She succeeds Jim Whittemore, who managed the office since 1980, and has decided to transition into the role of a sales associate.
Fugere was previously the manager of William Pitt Sotheby”™s International Realty”™s five brokerages in Litchfield County, Conn., and Berkshire County, Mass., where she was recognized in 2014 as the company”™s Manager of the Year for agent recruitment. During her three-year tenure, she managed more than 80 sales associates and led the firm to a No.1 market-share position in dollar volume and units in the Litchfield Hills. In addition, she saw to the firm”™s southern Berkshire office becoming the top brokerage in listings for its market, after having been open for less than a year.
Prior to joining William Pitt Sotheby”™s International Realty, Fugere managed two Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerages, doubling their profits to bring each to a No.1 market-share position.
ENTA welcomes new associate
Dr. Alexis Hope Jackman will join Tarrytown-based ENT and Allergy Associates L.L.P. at its Purchase office, 3020 Westchester Ave., Sept. 1.
A board-certified otolaryngologist head and neck surgeon with a subspecialty in rhinology and endoscopic sinus and skull-base surgery, Jackman received a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in chemistry from Mount Holyoke College. She studied at the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland, before earning her medical degree, with distinction, from George Washington University. She completed her internship in general surgery and residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at the New York University School of Medicine and her fellowship in rhinology and endoscopic sinus and skull-base surgery at the University of Pennsylvania School Of Medicine. She is a recipient of the Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award from the National Institute of Health.
Jackman joins ENTA following eight years as a clinical instructor and assistant professor at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Arc of Westchester elects new associate
Attorney Bernard A. Krooks was elected president of the Arc of Westchester board of directors at the agency”™s recent annual meeting at its Gleeson-Israel Gateway Center in Hawthorne. A reception preceded the business meeting and award presentations with more than 100 individuals, including chapter members, invited guests, self-advocates, staff and board members in attendance.
Marc Brandt, executive director of NYSARC Inc., gave the keynote address highlighting Arc of Westchester”™s 65 years of achievements and what changes will shape the future.
The membership elected a new slate of officers and board members for 2014-2015 along with Krooks who is a founding partner of Littman Krooks L.L.P. His firm has offices in New York City, White Plains and Fishkill. A nationally prominent expert in all aspects of estate planning, elder law and special needs planning, Krooks been chosen among The Best Lawyers in America, the definitive guide to legal excellence, in the field of elder law and trusts and estates for each of the last seven years. He has also been recognized as a “New York Super Lawyer” since 2006.

Teatown hosts volunteers from MasterCard
Seventy summer interns from MasterCard”™s Westchester headquarters will volunteer one day at Teatown Lake Reservation and take on a number of expansive projects on the preserve. Volunteers will tackle key projects on the grounds, helping Teatown to impact a community of more than 20,000 adults and children that participate in their programs annually. This endeavor is made possible through a partnership between MasterCard, Volunteer New York! and Teatown.
Teatown volunteers play a critical role ensuring that the environment is preserved and restored and that the 15 miles of trails serving 10,000 hikers in the community each year are safely maintained. Projects include deconstructing an old bridge and constructing a wetlands crossing to prepare the area for future construction and installation of new benches at Teatown”™s outdoor classroom, construction of new picnic tables, installation of water bars and checking dams to control erosion, disassembly of damaged outdoor stairways, installation of new plantings to reduce erosion and upkeep of Wildflower Woods, a 3-acre fenced in education facility.
Teatown Executive Director Kevin Carter said, “It is an honor to host such a large group of committed volunteers from MasterCard who are willing to donate their time to Teatown to make a significant impact on our 1,000-acre preserve.”
Saccardi receives award
The Westchester Municipal Planning Federation honored John Saccardi, VHB principal, with the 2014 President”™s Award for Lifetime Achievement in Planning on June 5 at Manhattanville College in Purchase. The honor celebrates individuals whose planning efforts reach beyond an individual land-use board or municipality to influence communities and projects in Westchester County. Saccardi also received a Certificate of Merit from County Executive Rob Astorino.
His work includes community development and affordable housing programs, transit-oriented development plans, campus master plans and neighborhood planning frameworks.
Westmed breast center receives NAPBC accreditation
Westmed Medical Group”™s Comprehensive Breast Center at 1 Theall Road, Rye, has received full accreditation by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers. This program, administered by the American College of Surgeons, is awarded only to those centers meeting the program”™s criteria in all clinical areas involved in treating patients with diseases of the breast. To become accredited, breast centers must be voluntarily committed to provide the highest level of quality breast care and must successfully complete a stringent performance review.
Carrington receives 2014 Diamond Award
Rochelle Carrington, owner of Sandler Training in Mount Kisco, recently received the Sandler Training Diamond Award for achieving top sales performance goals year to date for 2014. She previously received the distinguished Sandler Training Ruby Award in November. Sandler Training is an international training organization dedicated to improving sales, management and customer service skills. Founded in 1967, it has more than 250 trainers globally.
Based in Mount Kisco, Carrington has advised, trained and coached both large and small enterprises on developing stronger sales teams, creating better hiring practices and leading organizations more effectively.
