STAMFORD – Gentleman’s Barber Spa of White Plains has expanded with a Gentleman’s Grooming Lounge in Stamford at 1 Atlantic St.
The luxury men’s grooming brand known for restoring the classic barbershop experience held an opening celebration Sunday, Jan. 4. Over the years, the brand has built a loyal following that includes professionals, creatives, and notable figures from sports, entertainment, and business throughout the New York metro area.
The owners, Peter Palushi and Goni Gega, are New York-based entrepreneurs who have spent years serving clients who live and/or work in Stamford. They have other establishments in Rye and Tribeca.
This new space is housed in a restored historic interior and is designed as more than a barbershop. It is a community-minded lounge that blends craftsmanship, hospitality, and architecture in a way that feels distinctly suited to downtown Stamford.
Peter Palushi
Peter has traveled to Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands, England, Austria, and Canada. He worked for some of the best establishments in the world such as Truefitt & Hill, which originally served as the main barbers for the British Royal family and New York’s prestigious, The Art of Shaving.
Goni Gega
Goni is a second generation barber. He started cutting hair at a very young age, at his grandfather’s barbershop. Knowing this was his true calling, he pursued a career in hairdressing. After earning a full cosmetology license he discovered that his true niche was men’s hair styling.
