Armonk-based IBM announced that on Aug. 19 it entered into a five-year information technology infrastructure services agreement in excess of $300 million with Health Net Inc., a publicly traded, managed health care company. As part of the agreement, IBM will manage Health Net’s entire IT infrastructure for what it says are substantial cost savings and increased data center reliability. IBM will provide: data center services, IT security management, help desk and desk side support. AT&T, an IBM partner, will provide network, voice and data management services.

Purchase-based MasterCard Worldwide announced that U.S.-based Mexican quick-service restaurant chain Taco Bueno is now accepting MasterCard PayPass contactless payments at all of its 161 store locations. Customers can use their MasterCard PayPass card to “tap and go” to pay for menu items at the counter or even in the drive-thru. Taco Bueno has franchises in Arkansas, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas and New Mexico.
