With the Fourth of July around the corner, there’s no better time to share this exciting news. As the nation reflects on the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, Westchester County will host REV FEST 250—a first-of-its-kind immersive weekend experience at Croton Point Park in New York’s scenic Hudson Valley on Sept. 27–28, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
A contemporary look at a historic moment, REV FEST 250 tells the story of the American Revolution from multiple perspectives—patriots, loyalists and those caught in between. Through reenactments, drills, music and interactive demonstrations, attendees will be transported into a living 18th-century world that makes the past feel relatable.
Thousands of people from the tri-state region are expected to attend this event, which is part of Westchester’s official semi quincentennial (250th) commemoration of the American Revolution. This is a fantastic opportunity to experience an event unlike any other in the region. Don’t miss the chance to:
- Participate in drills and meet costumed historical reenactors, including Benedict Arnold, John André, Deborah Sampson—who disguised herself to join the Continental Army—and Black soldiers who were both loyalists and patriots.
- Watch horseback cavalry in action and stroll the historic encampment with 18th-century crafts and demonstrations, including blacksmithing, map making, basket weaving and woodworking.
- Raise your voice at the Hamilton sing-along, dance with the Sankofa Drum and Dance Ensemble, enjoy the magic of the award-winning Westchester Symphonic Winds, and be mesmerized by storyteller Jonathan Kruk—all on two stages and throughout the grounds.
REV FEST 250 highlights Westchester’s important and often overlooked role in the American Revolution and is a major part of a broader regional campaign to promote cultural tourism and economic recovery, culminating in a dramatic 2026 reenactment of the Battle of White Plains.
