New economic developments are underway in Elmsford with a Sports Authority opening this Friday and an official Grand Opening scheduled for Saturday.
The Crossroads Shopping Center on Tarrytown in White Plains will renovate its space starting this week, according to Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner. Four new tenants will lease space at the center, replacing empty store fronts.
Lane Bryant and Chef Central are currently under construction, set to open within the year. Dress Barn will be building a new and bigger store and PetSmart plans to sign a lease to take up half the space of the former A & P super market and liquor store. The landlord will continue negotiating with two national tenants for the rest of the existing space in A & P and Dress Barn. These four tenants plan to open within the spring and provide a diversified shopping hub for Greenburgh residents.
Crossroads is owned by White Plains-based Arcadia Realty Trust. The leasing company was Heyman Properties, headquartered in Westport, Conn.
