A popular shop on Greenwich Avenue, Funky Monkey Toys & Books, in an effort to support the Greenwich Police Department (GPD), offered individually curated Easter and Passover bundles during the weeks preceding the holidays with 10% of the proceeds going to the police scholarship fund.
On Wednesday, April 28, Jared Greenman, Funky Monkey Toys and Books”™ owner, presented a $1,500 check to Chief James Heavey, at the Greenwich Police Headquarters. “Everyone at Funky Monkey is proud to donate to the GPD Scholarship Fund, going toward college tuition money for the children of Greenwich Police Officers,” Jared said. “It”™s a natural fit for us.
