Julia B. Fee Sotheby”™s International Realty and My Sisters’ Place, a Westchester County-based nonprofit, will host a fundraising restaurant crawl in Rye on Sept. 24 from 3 to 5:30 p.m. All money raised will go directly to My Sisters”™ Place in support of its efforts to end domestic violence.
Tickets for “A Taste of Rye” are $50. Ticket holders will receive a drink and a specially-prepared appetizer at each of the nine restaurants on the tasting tour. Restaurants include Aurora, Fogama, Morgans Fish House, Rosemary and Vine, Ruby”™s Oyster Bar & Bistro, Town & Dock, Wine at Five, WUJI Restaurant and the Rye Grill & Bar.
Additional funds will be raised through a silent auction, featuring items donated from local Rye merchants.
My Sisters”™ Place works to end domestic violence by aiding victims and focusing on community education and prevention. The organization also combats human trafficking throughout Westchester County and offers advocacy, shelter and legal services to those in need.
Julia B. Fee Sotheby”™s International Realty Rye brokerage manager Pati Holmes said her company has raised more than $100,000 for My Sisters”™ Place.
Tickets can be purchased online at atasteofrye.com and exchanged for a wristband at the company”™s Rye office, located at 49 Purchase St.
