The Parsonage Cottage Junior Advisory Board announced that its 4th “Tee Party” held on Saturday, June 14, at the Parsonage Cottage Senior Residence in Greenwich, Connecticut, was most successful. This highly anticipated event brought together community members of all ages for a lively afternoon of miniature golf, music, refreshments and team camaraderie, all in support of vital programs that enrich the lives of residents at Parsonage Cottage.
Set on the beautifully maintained grounds of the senior residence at 88 Parsonage Road, the Tee Party featured a creatively designed 18-hole mini-golf course. Participants arrived in high spirits, many donning themed costumes and creative team names. Prizes were awarded for Best Team Attire, adding an extra layer of friendly competition to the event.
Throughout the afternoon, guests enjoyed music from a DJ, lunch from Walter’s Hot Dog Truck, ice cream, and refreshments, all of which were included with registration. The event was well attended despite the rain, reflecting the strong community support for this signature fundraiser.
“We look forward to this event every year,” said Executive Director Penny Lore. “The Tee Party has become a joyful tradition that not only supports Parsonage Cottage but also brings the wider community together in a meaningful way. Our residents love seeing the energy and youth fill our grounds — it’s truly heartwarming.”
Lore also commended the Junior Advisory Board for their continued leadership and dedication. “We are so grateful for their commitment. This event plays a key role in helping us provide a comprehensive range of enriching services and activities that support the health and happiness of our residents.”
The Tee Party directly supports Parsonage Cottage’s mission to offer high-quality, not-for-profit assisted living services in a setting that values dignity, independence and vibrant community life for seniors.
