First County Bank Chairman and CEO Robert J. Granata received the first-ever Person of Vision award from the Yale Eye Center. The award
was presented to Granata by the Yale Eye Center Advisory Board Co-Chairs Jack Feighery and Ronald M. Salvatore along with Chairman Gene Rubino, during a recent benefit breakfast in his honor.
When selecting a candidate for its inaugural award presentation
the eye center looked for an outstanding citizen, one who not only excels in a professional capacity but also goes above and beyond through community service and outreach to community organizations and shows strong compassion for helping others. “Bob was the ideal candidate to be recognized with this award,” said Rubino. “Bob sets the precedent for all future Person of Vision awardees. He is an exemplary leader both professionally and philanthropically who continues to
help others through support and service, within First County Bank and the Stamford Community,” said Rubino.
“I am deeply humbled and honored to be named the Person of Vision by the Yale Eye Center. I want to sincerely thank the entire Yale Eye Center community, along with my friends, family and colleagues for this incredible recognition. It is a privilege to serve alongside such dedicated
and compassionate individuals. This award is a testament not only to my work but to theunwavering support and encouragement I’ve received from all of you, and I am truly thankful for this remarkable honor,” said Granata who has been instrumental in shaping the success of First County Bank, fostering community ties and supporting local initiatives.
