Previously, Wenzel was an associate at prominent Am Law 100 law firm Latham Watkins and served as a federal law clerk to Judge Debra M. Brown of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Mississippi.
Wenzel earned his J.D. from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University where he graduated summa cum laude and was the managing editor of Pace Environmental Law Review.
In 2024, Pace awarded Wenzel the Shining Star Award, which recognizes up-and-coming leaders in the alumni community who have demonstrated significant contributions early in their careers to the legal profession, their employers and the community early in their careers. He has also been named to the New York Metro Super Lawyers Rising Stars.
