The Business Council of Westchester (BCW), located in White Plains, New York, has appointed five new members to its Board of Directors.
The new board members are:
- Jason Barnett, founding managing partner, vice chairman, general counsel, and secretary of RXR Realty LLC, a fully integrated, multi-billion-dollar private real estate company. Barnett was instrumental in the formation of RXR following the landmark merger of Reckson Associates Realty Corp. with SL Green, one of the largest public real estate management buyouts in REIT history.
- Andrew Castellano, founder and operator of Sharc Creative, is a Westchester-born entrepreneur who specializes in innovative audio solutions designed to enhance business engagement. Castellano’s career began with WFAS Radio, where he honed his skills in broadcasting and communications.
- Beata Mastalerz, DNP, RN, executive director of Phelps Memorial Hospital has been a driving force in advancing the hospital’s operational and clinical excellence. She previously served as executive director of Manhattan Eye, Ear, & Throat Hospital where she elevated its reputation as a Center of Excellence in Surgical Safety.
- Susan L. Parish, Ph.D., M.S.W., 13th president of Mercy University, is a nationally recognized leader in health administration education. During her tenure as dean of the College of Health Professions at Virginia Commonwealth University she oversaw significant growth in enrollment and research funding.
- Thomas Scaglione, vice president of government and community relations at WMCHealth, has extensive experience, including his tenure as Mid-Hudson regional director for Empire State Development where he secured over $120 million in economic development grants and established the $150 million Mid-Hudson Momentum Fund.
