Nan Xiang Xiao Long Bao, the beloved soup dumpling institution in Stamford, Connecticut, launched a limited-edition collaboration with Long Island–based ceramic artist Alison Ryczek. Created specifically for Mother’s Day, the collection offers an elegant and functional gift for moms who appreciate both food and decor.
Ryczek designed six small angular stoneware bowls inspired by the colors of Nan Xiang’s signature “Lucky Six” soup dumplings – one of Nan Xiang’s most popular dishes. Each bowl corresponds to one of the six varieties, which features naturally colored wrappers that vary by flavor: Pork (white); Crab & Pork (white with yellow tip); Chicken (yellow); Pork & Truffle (black); Luffa, Shrimp, & Pork (green); Scallop & Pork (red).
Equal parts serve ware and collectible, the bowls extend the Nan Xiang experience beyond the meal, suited for dumplings, dipping sauces, or everyday use at home.
Guests can add individual bowls to dine-in for $16 (with a $55 minimum), or purchase retail for $25. Quantities are extremely limited, with just 48 bowls available per location.
Nan Xiang is located at 230 Tresser Blvd, within Stamford Town Center.
