Westmed Medical Group has launched a mobile app, along with a redesigned patient portal and website.
The Purchase multispecialty group said in an announcement that its updated digital presence would help “create a more seamless process for patients looking to manage non-emergency health needs.”
“Convenient features like online appointment scheduling and secure messaging with physicians, were built in to help patients stay connected with their health, and with the care they receive from Westmed,” said Anthony Viceroy, Westmed”™s CEO.
Westmed said the changes would streamline digital services such as scheduling an appointment, paying bills and refilling a prescription. The “My Westmed” app is available in the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Westmed’s practice consists of 500 physicians and care providers across 13 locations in Westchester and Fairfield counties.
