Psychology Partners Group, which has been based in Chappaqua has opened an office at 199 Main St. in White Plains. White Plains Mayor Tom Roach, Common Council President Victoria Presser and Westchester County Legislator Ben Boykin were among those on hand for the opening.
Emily Bly, the group’s clinical director, said, “We are proud to offer a holistic, systems-based approach to psychotherapy, considering how each person’s relationships, behaviors, and life choices are interconnected. We help people with a wide variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional dysregulation and relationship problems.”
Roach said that he was “very happy to see any kind of new business come into the city, particularly anything that deals with mental health. I think that more people are open about being in therapy or receiving assistance. Like so many other things, when people are more open about it, more people do it, and it’s better for us as a community.”
The group has 14 team members including clinical social workers, psychologists and an art therapist. Among the services offered at Psychology Partners Group’s White Plains location are individual, couples and family therapy, eating disorders treatment, and psychological assessments.
