Attorney Larry Wolinsky, managing partner at Jacobowitz & Gubits L.L.P. in Walden, has been named board chairman at Hudson Valley Pattern for Progress, the regional policy, planning, advocacy and research organization based in Newburgh.
Wolinsky has served on the organization”™s board for more than 10 years, most recently as vice chairman. Jonathan Drapkin, Pattern for Progress president & CEO, in an announcement said the lawyer”™s “deep-rooted understanding of the Hudson Valley, his knowledge of the critical issues facing us, will make him the ideal leader for Pattern at this time.”
A partner at Jacobowitz & Gubits since 1990, Wolinsky leads the firm”™s environmental and land use team and is also a member of its municipal team. He also serves as vice chairman of the SUNY New Paltz Foundation and is a director of the Sullivan County Partnership for Economic Development.
