Sterling Cellars in Mahopac will host a wine tasting event on Feb. 6 to benefit Blythedale Children”™s Hospital in Valhalla.
Individuals making a donation will receive a wine-sampling glass.
There is a suggested donation of $20 per person.
“We are so grateful to Sterling Cellars for holding this event,” said Betsy Bowman, chief development officer for Blythedale Children”™s Hospital. “It is because of ongoing support from businesses and members of the surrounding community that we are able to do so much for the children at Blythedale.”
The hospital is constructing a 55,760-square-foot inpatient building through a “Journey of Hope” capital campaign.
The building is scheduled to open fall 2011.
