Dr. Robert Green recently was elected president of ENT and Allergy Associates L.L.P. by the specialty group practice”™s 97 partners.
An otolaryngologist and head and neck surgeon, Green practices at ENTA”™s Upper East Side office in Manhattan. He is a resident of Westchester County, where ENTA has its headquarters in Tarrytown.
The newly elected president was one of 12 physicians who founded ENT and Allergy Associates in 1998 with eight clinical offices in Manhattan, New Jersey and Westchester. Led by CEO Robert Glazer, it has grown to include about 150 physicians serving patients at 41 offices in New York and New Jersey. The company includes otolaryngologists, laryngologists, otologists/neurotologists, rhinologists, sleep specialists, facial plastic surgeons and allergists and more than 80 licensed audiologists.
Green, who previously was company treasurer and chairman of ENTA”™s finance committee, succeeds Dr. Wayne Eisman, who served 16 years as president.
Eisman in a press release called his colleague “the right choice to lead our practice forward through these challenging times. His expertise, experience and acumen in so many areas will be a huge asset to us all.”
A graduate of Harvard Medical School, Green is an associate clinical professor in otolaryngology at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, teaching the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the ears, nose and throat.
ENTA has a clinical alliance with Mount Sinai Hospital for the treatment of diseases of the head and neck and esophageal cancer and a partnership with the American Cancer Society to educate and treat patients with smoking disorders and cancer.
