Kevin J. Conroy, former president of Wellcare Health Plans of New York, has joined the 300-physician Mount Kisco Medical Group P.C. as its chief financial officer.
Dr. Scott Hayworth, the medical group”™s president and CEO, said Conroy served since 2010 as president of Wellcare, a provider of government-sponsored health plans, and previously was the company”™s vice president of finance. In nearly a decade of executive roles, he was instrumental in developing an integrated long term care program for WellCare and was responsible for network management and development, sales and marketing, finance and quality improvement, Hayworth said.
In a 20-year career, Conroy also has served as CFO at two provider-sponsored health plans and was vice president and treasurer at IntegraMed America, a specialty health care services company with headquarters in Purchase.
Founded in 1946, the Mount Kisco Medical Group is a multispecialty practice group providing care in Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess counties. It has campuses in Mount Kisco, Carmel, Katonah, Fishkill and Poughkeepsie.
