The annual Westchester County Doctors of Distinction Awards ceremony is set to take place Oct. 29 at The Bristal at Armonk.
The event, which starts at 5:30 p.m., is co-sponsored by WestFair Communications Inc. and accounting firm Citrin Cooperman.

The six winners of the five categories are:
Community Service: Michael Lahn of NewYork-Presbyterian/Lawrence Hospital;
Excellence in Medical Research: Robert Gary Josephberg, who has a private practice;
Lifetime Achievement: Scott D. Hayworth of Mount Kisco Medical Group PC;
Humanitarian: Craig H. Zalvan of Phelps Memorial Hospital Center;
Leadership in Medical Advocacy: Andrew Kleinman of Kleinman Plastic Surgery and L. Mark Russakoff of Phelps Mental Health Clinic.
Janine Miller, executive director of the Westchester County Medical Society, said the organization is proud to co-sponsor the 2015 Doctors of Distinction Awards.
“Each year, the awardees are nominated by their peers for their extraordinary achievements in one of the five categories,” Miller said. “This event is a wonderful way to recognize the heart-and-soul our Westchester doctors put into treating their patients and working in their communities, and we are thrilled to be a part of it.”
