Goosefeather, the modern Chinese-style restaurant in Tarrytown, is toasting summer”™s imminent departure in two ways. First, the Goosefeather team has created a specialty cocktail to support the communities that have been affected by the devastating Maui wildfires. A”¯portion of proceeds from sales of the”¯Maui Strong ($23), with Don Papa rum, absinthe, coconut, pineapple and lime,”¯will”¯be donated to the”¯Chef Hui Maui Relief Fund.
Separately, Goosefeather announced it is hosting its Bourbon N BBQ”¯Cookout on Sept. 7 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on the front lawn where patrons can sip ”¯Stellum Bourbon”¯at the tasting table and enjoy an all-you-can-eat barbecue and sides for $95. (The price includes three drinks.) A cash bar is available for additional beverages. Goosefeather’s resident DJ will be spinning, and there will be lawn games for additional entertainment. Those looking for table service may reserve a pod for $50. (Otherwise, bar and food stations are self-service.) There is no rain date.
