Cingari Family ShopRite, the family-owned and operated company of 12 Fairfield County supermarkets, has reopened its newly remodeled ShopRite in Shelton.
Mark Lauretti, mayor of Shelton, will be on hand today for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the store, 875 Bridgeport Ave., marking its extensive renovations over the past several months. The renovations focused on expanding product offerings and upgrading customer amenities, including new lighting and décor that have a fresh look and feel. The result is intended to provide customers with a modern, convenient shopping experience.
A new prepared foods and delicatessen section offers a wide variety of ready-to-heat and ready-to-eat options for customers looking to grab a quick meal on the go. The renovated seafood department features a vast selection of fresh fish, shellfish and more, while the updated meat and produce departments provide customers with an even greater selection of high-quality meats, fruits and vegetables. The bakery offers fresh-baked breads, cakes and pastries, and the expanded sushi department has an impressive variety of sushi rolls, sashimi and other Japanese-inspired dishes. The new and improved floral department consists of fresh quality flowers and arrangements for all occasions.
“Our commitment to creating the best possible shopping experience for our guests remains stronger than ever, and we can’t wait to show off our newly renovated space,” said Tom Cingari Sr., president and CEO of Cingari Family ShopRite. “Our team listens to our customers and aims to give them the best possible shopping experience. We look forward to seeing familiar faces in the Shelton store and welcoming new ones, and we thank all our customers for their patience during the renovation process.”
