For a third year, Danbury is bringing back its Summer Youth Employment Program for students ages 14 and up in collaboration with the University of Connecticut Extension Center.
The program trained 100 teens last year utilizing a grant from the Northwest Regional Workforce Investment Board. Teens worked 20 hours a week at the state minimum wage of $7.65 an hour.
