Canine Co., a Wilton-based pet care company that has served more than 300,000 pets since its 1983 founding, is offering a pair of new services: a mobile pet spa and a pet visiting service.

In a statement, the company said the services arrive in response to growing demand for at-home pet care services. It serves all New England, plus New York and New Jersey. Canine Co. added at-home obedience training in 2010.
Canine Co.”™s new Mobile Spa brings everything necessary to clean a dog to the client”™s driveway, the company said. Standard service includes a shampoo and conditioning followed by drying, brush, pedicure and ear cleaning. The services are available throughout Fairfield County and parts of Westchester County.
The company”™s Pet Visitors service features first-aid certified, pet-care trained professionals who will visit during the day to exercise the pet, provide food and water, give medications, change litter and more. Unlike traditional pet-sitting services, the company said, Canine Co. provides clients with a lock box so there is no concern about security of house keys. The service is available only in Fairfield County.
