WESTMED Medical Group has opened a 13,000-square-foot medical office in a new retail/office/medical building at 644 West Putnam Ave. in Greenwich.
“This will give patients living in and around this area the opportunity for prompt high-quality medical care when a non-emergency injury or illness occurs unexpectedly,” Simeon Schwartz, president and CEO of the WESTMED Medical Group, said.
The ground floor of of the new medical office will provide walk-in urgent care for readily treatable conditions such as rashes, sprains, stomachache, flu symptoms and eye and ear pain. The office will also include advanced laboratory and imaging testing.
The second floor will offer primary care, including internal medicine and pediatrics. Specialty services will include cardiology, otolaryngology ”” ear, nose and throat ”” with an audiologist, plastic surgery consultation and pulmonology.
Other tenants at the property include CVS pharmacy, Greenwich Hospital, a concierge pediatrics group and Zaniac Prep, an after-school enrichment program.
The location is the third medical facility in Fairfield County for the Purchase-based medical group in addition to six facilities in Westchester County.
