The University of Bridgeport launched the first issue of an annual research magazine this week.
The publication, Breakthroughs, will profile the school’s innovative and interdisciplinary research projects, such as its robot laboratory and microgrid research.
“The research endeavors at UB highlight our role as a think tank for new ventures and a 21st century learning center,” said Tarek M. Sobh, vice president for graduate studies and research, in a letter to readers. “The ongoing research at UB supports our goal of developing a world-class workforce that is essential to the continuing growth of industries and communities throughout Connecticut, the United States and the world.”
The first issue is available at ubbreakthroughs.org.
