Restaurant group Z Hospitality today is opening its sixth county restaurant, Terra Ristorante Italiano. Located in the new Hotel Zero Degrees Danbury at 15 Milestone Road, the eatery features northern Italian cuisine and will be similar to the original Terra Ristorante, long a Greenwich mainstay at 156 Greenwich Ave.
The Greenwich restaurant was the first to be opened by owner Ramze Zakka, who also owns Sole in New Canaan, Eastend in Greenwich, and Mediterraneos in Greenwich and Norwalk. Zakka also owns the Mediterraeno in White Plains and Aurora in Rye, N.Y.
The executive chef of all eight restaurants, Albert DeAngelis, will lead the culinary efforts in Danbury with a menu ranging from pizzas and wood-oven-cooked dishes to homemade pastas and Wagyu beef carpaccio with white truffle oil.
