After debuting in Connecticut two years ago, mobile carrier Pocket Communications Inc. is pulling out of the market at a cost of 100 jobs.

San Antonio-based Pocket informed customers it would cease service Oct. 31, blaming the decision on the recession and the high cost of installing infrastructure equipment in Connecticut.

Attorney General Richard Blumenthal stated he is contacting the company to ensure it will provide any refunds that might be owed state residents.
