In a $1.4 million contract, Norwalk-based Splinternet Holdings Inc. is providing a system to monitor radiological material stored in a group of hospitals and clinics in the Midwest.
Splinternet is providing the system through a subcontract with Argus Technologies L.L.C., a newly formed affiliate of a Tampa, Fla.-based company, providing information-technology consulting services to hospitals. The companies did not identify the hospitals by name.
In the first quarter, Splinternet had a $250,000 loss on $200,000 in revenue. On April 30, the company acquired Vidiation Inc., paying stock valued at more than $6 million at the time of the transaction.
