John Sculley, a former president of PepsiCo and CEO of Apple, recently urged a full house at Fairfield University”™s Quick Center for the Arts to hold fast to their entrepreneurial pursuits and not let failure deter them.
In his talk, “Globalization ”” The Future of American Brands,” Sculley addressed an audience that included undergraduates and graduate students, many of them students at the Charles F. Dolan School of Business.
Sculley spoke of the value of taking risks in business and advised attendees to be resilient when projects don”™t succeed. “You have to pick yourselves up,” Sculley said. “Recovery is one of the key skills of a successful entrepreneur.”
