Sculley knows marketing

John Sculley, a former president of PepsiCo and CEO of Apple, recently urged a full house at Fairfield University”™s Quick Center for the Arts to hold fast to their entrepreneurial pursuits and not let failure deter them.

In his talk, “Globalization ”” The Future of American Brands,” Sculley addressed an audience that included undergraduates and graduate students, many of them students at the Charles F. Dolan School of Business.F09a_FU Sculley Marketing Club

Sculley spoke of the value of taking risks in business and advised attendees to be resilient when projects don”™t succeed. “You have to pick yourselves up,” Sculley said. “Recovery is one of the key skills of a successful entrepreneur.”
