Real estate advisory firm Delmhorst & Sheehan Inc., with offices in Stamford and New York City, said recently it represented Pilot Pen Corp. of America in the sale of the company’s former headquarters at 60 Commerce Drive in Trumbull.
The 83,487 square foot facility was purchased by Cambridge Hanover Inc., billed in a Delmhorst & Sheehan press release as “one of Connecticut’s leading real estate investment firms focusing on industrial properties.” The Purchaser was represented by Sean Cahill of Avison Young.
Principal John E. Sheehan of Delmhorst & Sheehan said, “We were not surprised that a buyer like Cambridge-Hanover purchased the property. Pilot Pen maintained the property impeccably and we believe the quality of the improvements as well as its enviable location at the intersection of the Merritt Parkway and Route 8 will attract considerable tenant interest in the improving local marketplace.
