WALLINGFORD – Gaylord Specialty Healthcare has expanded its footprint into Fairfield County with the opening of a new outpatient therapy clinic at 75 Kings Highway Cutoff in Fairfield.
The new clinic marks Gaylord’s first presence in southwestern Connecticut and its sixth outpatient location statewide. The 6,000-square-foot facility will provide access to Gaylord’s rehabilitation expertise in sports medicine, orthopedic, and neurological rehabilitation services closer to home for area residents.

The new clinic offers advanced sports medicine and performance programs, led by doctorate-trained physical therapists who are also elite athletes themselves. It also offers physical, occupational, and speech therapies for individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries or neurological conditions such as stroke, brain and spinal cord injury, concussion, vestibular disorders, Parkinson’s disease, and other movement disorders.
The facility is equipped with the Zero-G Gait and Balance System, a high-tech body-weight support system that aids in gait training and mobility while reducing fall risk.
Gaylord veteran Jadean Hoff, PT, DPT, NCS, CCCM, a board-certified specialist in neurologic rehabilitation who also specializes in vestibular (dizziness), balance, and concussion treatment, will lead the team as clinic supervisor.
Leading the sports medicine and performance program is Brian Reis, PT, DPT, who specializes in rehabilitating athletes and return-to-play, injury prevention, and strength and conditioning. Reis is also a performance coach at Connecticut Grind in Orange, has extensive expertise coaching at the high school level, and works with the Derby Red Raiders football program.
Joining the neurologic team is occupational therapist Mary Hickey, OTR/L, CPAM, LSVT-BIG, and Speech Therapist Samantha Pierpont, MS, CCC-SLP, both of whom specialize in advanced neurologic rehabilitation.
